Scott M. Feit,
CPC, CPA, QPA, QKA
Scott, a
Principal of Abar Pension Services, Inc., has many years of
experience as a pension consultant, designing, implementing and
administering thousands of corporate retirement plans. Scott
has written and published an article for the New York State
Society of CPAs, “Should a 401(k) Plan Be a Safe Harbor 401(k)
Plan?” (The CPA Journal, March 2007) – google “Scott M. Feit”
for a copy of the article. Scott has lectured extensively on
401(k), profit sharing and pension plans. Some of his
lectures/seminars included:
“Retirement Plans” for over 100 members of the
New Jersey State Society of Certified Public Accountants. This
seminar included a 59 page presentation, written by Scott, on
401(k)s, roth contributions, profit sharing allocations,
vesting, testing issues and tax deductions.
“ROTH 401(k)” to employees of some large
investment firms.
At the request of many large investment firms,
Scott has presented numerous times on different topics
pertaining to retirement plans to many of their clients.
Scott teaches
occasionally a 3 hour course he created called “401(k) Plans:
What You Need to Know!”at the Professional School of Business in
Millburn, NJ.
Mark Shemtob, A.S.A.
Mark,
a Principal of Abar Pension Services, Inc. and an enrolled
actuary, has over 30 years as an independent, consulting
actuary. Mark has been an Associate of the Society of Actuaries
since 1981, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries since
1982 and has been a member of the American Society of Pension
Professionals and Actuaries since 1987.
Mark has
published articles covering topics including Social Security,
qualified retirement plan trends and retirement security policy.
In addition Mark serves as an adjunct professor at Rutgers
University Business School where he teaches a course in the
Finance Department on retirement programs. Mark is currently
serving on the American Academy of Actuaries Social Insurance
Committee and periodically lectures to accountants and attorneys
on qualified retirement plan topics.
Mikel R. Uchitel, F.S.A.
Mikel, the founding Principal, designs and oversees the
administration of all types of pension and profit sharing
plans. He is a 1967 Magna Cum Laude graduate of the Wharton
School of Finance and Commerce of the University of
Pennsylvania, with an Actuarial Science major. He achieved the
Fellowship designation of the Society of Actuaries in 1975 and
is also a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries and the
American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries, as well
as an Enrolled Actuary, licensed by the Joint Board of the
Department of Treasury & Department of Labor to certify Defined
Benefit Plan funding. He has been actively involved in the
Qualified Plan arena since 1968 and has worked on thousands of
Plans in his career.
